Blue Ox Tow Bar Baseplate + Demco AFO115 Brake Controller for Mini Cooper'02-08

  
This tow bar and brake controller package was removed from a 2007 Mini Cooper convertible model. The tow bar includes the base plate, 2 removable hinge points/adapter brackets, lighting socket, compressed air disconnect, and emergency brake pin. It may fit later Mini models and other makes but you are on your own. The Demco Air Force One brake controller was mounted under the hood and interfaced with the tow vehicle and Blue Ox plate attributes. The AFO115 unit is missing the brake pedal actuator, as it was removed by the prior owner and the air lines and wires connecting the controller box with the actuator were cut. The base plate is solid and functional condition. The black powdercoat finish is pealing off, and the uncoated steel has rusted in places. Use as is or strip and repaint.

The removable pins lock in quite well and function as they should. Other pieces are in good condition. The controller box is good shape and should work as intended with some additional parts.
