99-05 VW Jetta / GTI Stage 3 Suspension B&G Hotchkis Tubular Control Arms Etc

  

This kit will come with a set of used but very high end quality B&G adjustable shocks with adjustable coil overs for an MK4. The dampening can be adjusted with a twist knob at the top of the shocks. You can set them the whole way to a soft setting and dial them back from there to your liking after making a test run with them. Or start the whole way on a stiff setting and adjust to your liking back toward softer settings from there.

Or set them on a neutral setting and adjust to your liking from there. The rear coil springs are a set of QA1 race springs. This kit will also come with tubular lower control arms for in the front with hime end mounting points which significantly give you better steering stability, stable suspension movement, and more stiffness and integrity in the lower control arm geometry so that the control arm itself will not bind and flex and twist when running lower ride heights and when running the car hard.

When lowered, the overall geometry of the suspension system is changed putting stress in locations on the stock lower control arms that isn't there when running stock ride heights. This tubular set eliminates that problem and adds strengthening beyond the stock components and also gives a smoother driving experience. Included is also a good set of ball joints for each side.

If you notice, on the tubular control arms there is also a metal sway bar end link on each side. The stock end links on these cars are plastic. This can be a significant safety hazard when running the car hard or with an upgraded suspension because the stock plastic ones become a weak point and are prone to snapping.

To eliminate this problem, unbreakable metal sway bar end links are added to each side to bolt to your sway bar. This kit also comes with a Hotchkis sway bar for in the rear. A very good add on in this kit to help with rear stability along with the added stability in the front. Stock front sway bars in MK4s are good as they are, just the end links should be upgraded to metal. You could also get an upgraded front sway bar separate though if you wanted.

Also included is the entire hub assembly with wheel bearings, spindles, etc. Included for a quicker and easier install. The brake rotors are also basically brand new. They just have have a light layer of surface rust like they get from sitting that will clear off after the first time of driving. Let me know if you have anymore questions.
